Activations are the audience having a different experience of entertainment.
Our activations are second to none, filled with creativity and impact. They will bring a whole new element to your event.
Circus Drop Zone
The Circus Dropzone gives you fine humans of all ages a chance to throw your hands, feet, hips and heart into the ring. Stay on the ground with juggling, hula hoops or Diablo, keep it simple with spinning plates, take to the sky on our trapeze or the real dare devils can roll off into the sunset on a unicycle. Live life and bring the whole family along to be part of the fun, you can spend hours or five minutes having a go with the help of each other or our highly skilled trainers.
Musical Adventure Playground
Did you know we all like to make music? The Musical Playground is filled with interactive instruments set up like games, so you don't need skill you just need a little guidance and enthusiasm and you too could be making sweet sounds and getting your loud on.

Talking Lamp posts
These two very English Lamp posts like to get involved in other people’s love lives, share opinions on fashion and get some affection – even inanimate objects have feelings you know!

Don’t look the other way when the unexpected happens, stop and have a chat with the Lamp posts, get to know them and before you know what has happened, you will be part of the magical world of laughter, dancing and love. The Lamp posts desire to show the people of the world how to have a more silly and spontaneous life.
Lantern Making Workshops
Phil and his able assistants work with the general public (both young and old) to co-create beautiful, individual lanterns, lovingly decorated by their creators. The day culminates in gifting the opportunity for lantern makers and their friends to participate in what is always the highlight of the festival - The Lantern Parade. Underscored with live or pre-recorded music, the Lantern Parade weaves its way through the festival site and gives each proud lantern maker the chance to show off their creations and be a part of the fun.
Phil can also insert himself into the community in the build up to a festival or celebration to work with local groups to create his signature large scale lanterns. Anything from lighthouses, to whales, pelicans to dragons, the only limit to what you can make is your imagination. Phil has developed a skills sharing process so that class or workshop leaders can then continue to create these incredible large pieces once Phil has moved on.
Why not close your festival or event with a moving and awe-inspiring fire sculpture? Individually created for each event, the fire sculpture will encapsulate the theme of your event alongside a piece of imagery and bring your event to a contemplative conclusion in a safe but memorable way. The fire sculpture can be as big or as small as you want and will burn for approximately 10 mins.

Truth Booth
The Truth Booth is a place to uncover all that you did not know about yourself or others and most often more than you wanted to know. Let your inner narcissist out of the closet and seek the made up truth about your life. Let it guide you to a place so funny you may need to change your clothes.
Aerial Rig
Laughter House Entertainment’s 6 metre high Aerial rig sits majestically amongst any Festival or event site.
The Aerial Rig forms the centrepiece of The Circus Drop Zone but can also be hired individually.
Always dreamed of having high flying acrobatics at your event but didn’t think it was possible?
Well at laughter house, we love making dreams come true.
We can supply the rig and find you the perfect aerial artist/s to give some WOW to your event.
The rig can also be used for “have a go” trapeze session if you want to challenge your audience and get them out of their comfort zone. This option comes with a qualified aerial trainer.
The Aerial Rig comes with Engineers Documents and is fully insured.
The Unity Project
In June of 2016, Nancy Belmont created UNITY, an interactive public art project, as a response to the divisiveness and negative rhetoric in American politics. Created to raise consciousness about the labels we give ourselves and others and explore how those labels both support and limit building interconnected, interesting communities. UNITY is a larger-than-life structure that helps us celebrate our uniqueness and strengthens our ties to each other. The project consists of 32 posts, each with identifiers such as, “I’m a parent; I speak English as a second language; I identify as LGBTQ,” etc. Participants tie colorful yarn to posts that reflect their identities. Their yarn intertwines with others’ to create a web of interconnectedness. In the end, we see that we are all connected by something, and it's our diversity that builds a strong and vibrant community.
