Welcome to the Ukiyo Lineup – your guide to what’s on, when, and who it’s best suited for. We’ve crafted the program so every time slot offers something unique, from high-energy kids’ antics to cheeky late-night laughs.

Here’s how it all breaks down:

11am & 12pm - Kids Shows

Big laughs for little humans! These shows are perfect for kids aged 10 and under—fun, friendly, and full of wonder. Expect silly antics, circus magic, and lots of audience giggles in these high-energy, bite-sized performances.

1pm & 6pm - Family

Entertainment for all ages! These family sessions are designed so everyone—kids, teens, and grown-ups alike—can enjoy the show together. Expect clever comedy, wild skills, and feel-good fun that will leave you smiling all the way home.

7pm & 8pm - Mature

Leave the kids at home—these sessions are strictly for grown-ups! Our world-class performers turn up the cheek and the charm with more adult humour, improvisation, and unfiltered flair. Recommended for audiences 17+.

From bite-sized laughs to full-family fun, our Kids & Family shows at the Ballarat Winter Festival are designed to delight audiences of all ages. Whether you’ve got tiny humans in tow or a whole crew of kids, teens, and grown-ups, there’s something for everyone. Introducing the lineup!

Eloise Green

A romantic comedy. A young woman who simply yearns to be loved in any way, shape or form. Eloise dazzles and dazes her audience incorporating death-defying acrobatics, multiple hula hoops and clowning in an effort to win over a smile, applause, a friend or two and maybe even…a lover!

This is a story of LOVE in all shapes and sizes. Eloise uniquely utilises audience members to tell her story, ‘All You Need Is Love’; a narrative which unravels with unexpected twists, friendships and romance that build to a huge crescendo. A climactic, surprise celebration!!! You have to see it to know how it ends.

Eli gets cheeky after dark...

Eloise Green’s is on the hunt for love—but in this late-night version, the stakes are a little higher and the stories a lot cheekier. Incorporating the same breathtaking acrobatics, hula hoop wizardry and physical comedy, this version of ‘All You Need Is Love’ explores the hilarity of adult desire, awkward flirtation and romantic desperation.

Audience members might find themselves roped into hilarious courtships, tender rejections, or even centre stage in Eloise’s whirlwind of longing. A little saucy, a lot of heart, and totally unpredictable—this is physical theatre at its most vulnerable, funny, and delightfully risqué.

Kiki & Pascal

The Kiki and Pascal show is the funniest love story of all time. The journey of this unlikely couple is wrapped around a show full of beautifully diverse skills, singing, juggling, contortion, interactive comedy, acrobatics and a surprise magical ending.

The Kiki and Pascal show is a rom-com stand-up variety that is best watched sitting down, with outrageous interactive situations and genuine originality. BUT, as talented as they are, that is all secondary to how damn funny and entertaining the show is. Don’t miss it because everyone will be talking about it, but they won’t know how to explain it.

They get cheeky at night!

Take one dysfunctional couple, add a heavy dose of absurdity, a touch of seductive charm, and a bucket of magical circus brilliance—and you've got the adults-only version of Kiki & Pascal.

Still built around their hilarious love story and signature variety antics, this nighttime performance dives deeper into the sultry, scandalous, and ridiculous moments of modern romance. Expect unfiltered banter, cheeky audience interaction, and the same dazzling skills—juggling, acrobatics, contortion, and song—but with a twist that’s strictly 17+.

The Great Dave

The Great Dave performs a show that is about so much more than just juggling. Maybe it is the ease with which he juggles that has us forget he is defying gravity, casually flicking 3, 4, then 5 juggling clubs from hand to hand whilst engaging the audience in a hilarious banter.

Very few performers are happy to put the destiny of the show into the hands of the audience, but with ultimate humility, The Great Dave offers the audience the chance to suggest different juggling styles—leaving him to improvise his way out of the seemingly impossible suggestions.

Finally, he ends up on a 2-metre-high unicycle juggling high above the audience’s head, while making the quintessential English cup of tea—with the help of the audience, of course. I guess that’s why they call him the Great Dave!?

Dave after dark...

The Great Dave is already legendary—but when the kids go to bed, he brings out his most daring, unfiltered self. With the same gravity-defying juggling and unicycle brilliance, this nighttime edition of the show leans harder into hilarious audience interaction, sharp improvisation, and bold British wit.

He’ll still take your outrageous suggestions and spin them into awe-inspiring juggling feats—but be warned, this version is peppered with dry humour, cheeky innuendo, and crowd banter that’s tailored for an adult audience. Come for the circus skills, stay for the side-splitting banter that’s far too good for the kids.

Dr Hubbles Bubbles

Everybody loves bubbles, but Dr Hubble really LOVES bubbles—and he wants to show you why.

Dr Hubble takes you on a funny and slightly educational journey into the world of bubbles. You will see the biggest bubbles you have ever seen, bubbles inside bubbles, a square bubble and the new explodabubble. At the end of each performance, one lucky child gets put inside a huge bubble. Come along, it could be you...

Mr Spin

The show is a highly skilled, comic vaudevillian-style street/circus act. He performs a beautiful three-ball juggle, Chinese devil-sticking, one-ball manipulation and a seven-ball juggle, mixed with madcap antics and an incredible sense of fun, not to mention a few hat tricks thrown in! This all culminates in him jumping on to a five-foot zigzag unicycle (of his own design) from which he juggles while balancing a glass of water on his head!

Children and parents alike will be laughing, gasping, and cheering throughout this action-packed performance. Mr Spin’s charm and circus mastery deliver non-stop entertainment, all wrapped in a whirlwind of physical comedy and theatrical flair.

17 + Shows

The Mr Spin Show is a masterclass in vaudevillian chaos—but after dark, it takes a cheekier turn. While still packed with astonishing circus stunts and crowd-favourite juggling, this adults-only performance loosens its collar and lets the comic genius fly.

You’ll still get the jaw-dropping seven-ball juggle, devil-stick mastery, and the iconic zigzag unicycle finale (glass of water - or something stronger - included), but this time with a little more attitude, a little more spice, and a whole lot more innuendo. It’s all the skill and precision of his daytime act, with just the right dash of mischief and grown-up humour to make it the perfect night out.

The Doogans

Quirky, utterly stupid but nevertheless brilliantly clever, sassy cigar box Queen Pandora Pink joins forces with comic juggling genius Mr. Spin to make their hit show – ‘The Doogans’. It’s a marvellous tribute to the classic vaudevillian greats of the 20th Century.

The show has a dynamic pace, mixed with quirky improvised chitchat and phenomenal circus skills. The two characters are charming, mischievous and irresistibly funny.

With laugh-out-loud banter, physical comedy, and moments of jaw-dropping circus artistry, The Doogans are five-star entertainment for the whole family.

The Doogans after dark

Step into a world of vaudeville mayhem, where Pandora Pink and Mr. Spin crank up the sass and slapstick for a more mature audience. Still bursting with world-class juggling and physical comedy, this adults-only version of ‘The Doogans’ adds a generous sprinkle of naughty humour, quick-witted innuendo, and unexpected surprises.

Expect bold banter, razor-sharp improvisation, and delightfully irreverent antics as the duo pay homage to classic variety theatre—with a cheeky twist. It’s everything you love about the original Doogans, but dialled up and unleashed for grown-up laughs.

Planet Lava

Everyone is an alien and the floor is lava! Planet Lava is interactive and silly, with incredible nonsense and circus skills designed to empower an audience of very clever alien children.

Space explorer Corie uses circus to solve very technical technology problems and shows that children are the smartest kids in the universe. Kids will laugh, move, and participate in this high-energy, intergalactic adventure where curiosity, creativity and connection rule.

Having lost their filter a few years ago, these wise (and slightly unhinged) old things are fast on their feet (with a little help from their scooters) and even faster with their wit.

Everyone loves a sweet old person… until they fart. 💨💀

Their advice is constant, their fashion is questionable, and honestly? They don’t care. They’ve earned the right to say what the rest of us only dare to think.
